A love hangover feels like the sensation one experiences when submerged in water for a warm soak. A release.

Peace has been found.

Solace.

She is grounded in sacrifice, suffering, and discomfort, yet moments of happiness are found everyday.

And despite all of the pain and sadness, joy continues to seek her out. She is wrapped in jubilation, glee, and high spirits in this moment, much like when the body is engulfed in water.

The love hangover finds her everyday because love lives within her. Through all the hurt, pain, oppression, anger, and fear, self love beats the odds, simply by being present.

Self Love.

Self love means joy.

Self love means happiness, even besotted with one’s self.

Self love means pleasure.

Self love means sex.

Self.
Love.

Self love means living.

A love hangover.

Let us not forget to take the opportunity presented to us right now to experience joy and happiness and relief. Let us love on each other and ourselves even more.
